What We Collect and Process
When you visit our website, our server process basic metadata to understand how our site is performing.
We store minimal data for analytics purposes. Therefore, the data cannot be used to personally identify a visitor.
Here are the details of what is stored and how we maintain a fully anonynous analytics tracking.
- Your IP is not stored in our servers, and it's only used to determine the macro-level geographic location (Country, Region, & Approximate City) of each event.
- The specific time of each event is heavily trimmed before being stored, only storing the date and the hour, excluding completely the minutes, seconds, and milliseconds.
- We do not keep a long-term session id for each user, but only a temporary one, which would switch each day, making it impossible to identify the same visitor past that short window, and across different days. It is stored in a non-identifiable manner. Your IP address is not recoverable from the session id, and the encryption key gets refreshed daily into a new one.
- The device information of each visitor is not stored in detail, but only broadly: Browser name, operating system and device type (e.g. Mobile, Desktop).
